Wildkats Move Up One in National Poll

The Kokomo Wildkats were ranked second in the 4A Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association (IHSBCA) preseason poll. Apparently, the IHSBCA does not subscribe to Baseball America (BA). In the most recent edition of BA (March 24-April 6), the Wildkats climbed one spot in the national poll without playing a game. Kokomo was ranked 18th nationally in the preseason BA poll. In the second BA poll, the Wildkats are ranked 17th.
